Detroit Radiant Products is the leading manufacturer of gas-fired infra-red heaters. Headquartered in Warren, MI, our manufacturing facility designs and produces radiant heaters for distribution into the United States and abroad. We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Manager to oversee and support our domestic distribution network. Duties will require extensive travel and interaction with manufacturer representatives. Position offers growth potential for an individual capable of maintaining a strong dealer network, willing to make extensive sales calls and able to increase sales.

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage our Domestic Distribution Network of manufacturer representatives.
• Assist with our International Distribution Network.
• Call on Specifying Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
• Establish new National Accounts.
• Conduct technical training seminar classes.
• Entertain and host out of town guests.
• Budget development and compliance.
• Application design and layout assistance.
• Troubleshooting and product related field support.

Qualifications
• Minimum 4-year college degree.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products & AutoDesk CAD.
• HVAC market knowledge and product experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel appx. 70 - 90 days per year (domestic and international).
• Good organization and managerial skills.
